Little axe health center | Norman, OK
The project involved expanding and upgrading the existing 76,000-square-foot facility to meet the growing healthcare needs of the tribal members as well as the surrounding community. We worked closely with the Absentee Shawnee Tribal Health Authority, Inc. Board of Directors in coordination with Executive Director Chris Larkin and his team to enhance key areas such as an expanded pharmacy, behavioral health, dental, laboratory, and public health. The health center now incorporates newly remodeled clinic spaces for primary care, specialty care, and after-hours needs in plus care. In addition to clinical space, the project included a separate building to support the facilities and maintenance needs of the new expansion.
